Stay strong sweet little G I love you so so much!

picnic in the park
I loved the watermelon picnic theme....Everything from the watermelon planters to the ants chewing holes in the plates (;
The light Summer breeze pushed the scent of the chicken towards the bench tables, where the party guests sat chatting under the shade of the old oak trees. The children were playing on the playground and a few had wandered off to feed cupcakes to the birds. The day was beautiful and I was so thankful to have been a part of helping throw one of my best friends daughter's birthday parties at the Castle Park in Post Falls.

28. Visit a botanical garden and take a picnic basket {packed with wine & cheese}
29. Keep a journal {it doesn’t have to be about the day-to-day, it can be a list of things you're grateful for, favourite quotes and ideas that inspire you}
30. Savour the decadence of a handmade chocolate {or three} and just be!
irresistible innocence
A world of pink was declared by Hayden! Princess wands, cupcakes, tutus all topped off with extravagant amounts of glitter! What 3 year old girl wouldn't be in love? Oh and did I mention a PRINCESS?! It was SO fun seeing the twinkle and innocence in the little girls eyes when Princess Tiana showed up! Such a fun day and the best way to celebrate a party! It's crazy to think this is a "job" I love every moment of it!
The years when the kids are young and full of wonderment are the best of years. They bring us laughter, love, excitement and that irresistible innocence we all adore. Who can resist the look on a child’s face when he or she realizes that the whole day is just about them?!

The Farm Chicks
What is a Farm Chick? A Farm Chick is a girl who sees the world through rose-colored glasses. She loves her family. She laughs a lot. She's farmgirl meets Fifth Avenue and with a little style she'll change the world.
Farm Chicks was founded by Serena, a mom of four, an author, and a Country Living Magazine contributing editor....She is pretty much one of the luckiest and most brilliant girls in the world that I know! And yes she has put together the Superbowl for women aka The Farm Chicks Antique Show! It will leave you speechless!
I think the thing that amuses me the most is how cool it is to see such amazingly creative women come together with the one purpose of getting the junk. The junk that will be used to re-purpose, create, or decorate with. Reminds me of what most likely, our mothers and grandmothers used to do, and I believe what I have read before, how the Farm Chicks Show originally started. When you don’t have much, you definitely can find a way to make something beautiful out of someone else’s junk. If that isn’t creative, or even “green”, then I don’t know what is! It may sound cheesy, but I am super proud to be a part of that kind of movement, that is becoming more and more popular these days.
SO much sweet sweet junkity junk goodness… ruffles, burlap, scrabble tiles, rusty cans, vintage aprons, old pyrex dishes, galvanized buckets, cute buntings, one of a kind pieces of art work, flower clips, chicken wire, old window frames, chippy painted furniture pieces. The list goes on and on… Seriously, I missed out on so much.
Next year....

Ah Cake
My wedding was perfect, it was everything I could have dreamed of and more except for one thing…the cake. Lets just say that it was the furthest thing from what I had envisioned for my big day and caused me to have a mini meltdown upon seeing it. As a result of my wedding cake fiasco, I have developed a small wedding cake obsession which I’m sure is just cake envy over what I could have had. Here are some of my faves that I would have loved to cut into on my big day....
Mattress Coils+Ice Cream Cones=HAPPINESS!
Love this! Who ever thought of this you are a genius THANK YOU! This was a must share with all of my bloggers! How cute would it be to do a table of these to go along with the ice cream party I posted a while back?! Just sayin'!
Oh happy happy day!
